Final meeting for the upcoming“Transform and Contribute,”Youth Conference

28 June, a meeting was held for the Australia and New Zealand Buddhist Youth Conference. The Chairman of BLIAYAD, Linda Chiang and twenty four members, gathered together in the Dining Hall of Fo Guang Shan Buddhist Temple, to have a final meeting regarding the upcoming Youth Conference, with the theme, “Transform and Contribute,” to be held from the 4th to the 7th of July 2008 at Christchurch.

The members have been busy having rehearsals of their performance item and working diligently in preparation for attending the Youth Conference.

Twenty-four members will participate in the Youth Conference, with an average age of between sixteen to eighteen years. They will travel to Christchurch on 3 July 2008 and we wish them all the very best.
