Response from companies and associations
From the day BLIA NZ Earthquake Relief Centre started, food was served to approximately 300 people for the people in need everyday. With this, many associations and companies are willing to join BLIA NZ on helping the people in need, providing fruits, vegetables and other necessities.
On the 1st of March, Krome Technologies, a leading Digital Hi-Fi distributor based in New Zealand, delivered a few pallets of apples to the BLIA NZ Earthquake Relief Centre. 10 BLIA NZ members helped to pack and re-arrange the apples. With this, the centre now has the chance to provide apple juice for the people.
Krome Technologies informed BLIA NZ South Island members earlier and communicated in providing 5 pallets of apples, drinking water and also vegetables. To share out the love and charity from the company, these goods were also sent to other associations that are doing charity work such as UCSA and the relief in New Brighton.
