Candidate for Botany Downs Electorate visits Fo Guang Shan Buddhist Temple

On 25 June, Venerable Abbess Manshin, President of the BLIA, Mr Peter Young, and ten committee members gathered at Fo Guang Shan Temple to meet Mr Kenneth Wang, who is a prospective councilor candidate.

Mr Wang stated that Botany Downs is a new and developing suburb in Auckland that currently doesn’t have a councilor. He would like to make a contribution to society by putting himself forward for election, particularly to resolve issues regarding law and order and strengthening it, as well as focusing on moral education.

The Abbess said that we do not make a vow without action and she hopes that Mr Wang will put these visions into action to achieve his goal.
