UCSA Student Association seeks work place

01 / 05

On 26th of February, Nathan, a representative of UCSA (University of Canterbury Student Association), visited BLIA NZ Earthquake Relief Centre to consult about a work place to rent. Nathan informed that the UCSA student Association has a number of 120 voluntary students that will assist disaster victims to clean up houses that were affected by the disaster.

At the time, the UCSA voluntary group does not have a fixed work place. Nathan has inquired if BLIA NZ Earthquake Centre could provide a space that allows 60 people as a contact centre. Venerable Abbes Manshin immediately agreed and is willing to provide internet services with full arrangement of furniture at the Dining Hall as their work place.
While Nathan was having his meal in the BLIA Earthquake Centre, he felt the tranquil atmosphere. He expressed that he could not destroy this tranquil atmosphere and will continue to seek for another location. He appreciates Venerable Abbess Manshin and all BLIA NZ members.
