International etiquette seminar

On the 21st November, a seminar was organised by the BLIA South Island North One Sub Chapter at FGS South Island with speaker Ms. Chen, a current cabin crew of Air New Zealand, for 24 participants. Venerable Juexi noted prior to the seminar that as people of Fo Guang Shan, they need to have good etiquette in addition to a tidy appearance, and strong faith from the heart. Ms. Chen began the seminar talking about the way to dress, dine, walking, way of speech and appearance to the international etiquette standard. Through the two hours of discussion, everyone picked up many new skills and knowledge that they could apply to their daily lives. Northern Chapter president and Advisor Ms. Ku presented Ms. Chen with a floral bouquet at the conclusion of the seminar as their token of thanks under the applauding audience of the morning.
