01 / 08

The cold winter could not stop the enthusiastic Christchurch locals from visiting the Yao Hong Ying Embroidery Exhibition! On 5th August, seven sisters who grew up together in Christchurch and their friends arrived at FGY Art Gallery Christchurch to visit the 2010 Yao Hong Ying Embroidery Art Exhibition for their third visit.

After their lunch at the Water Drop Café, the visitors embarked on a thorough tour of the exhibition. They were all captivated by the unforgettable embroidery works exhibited last visit year, but this time they were even more awe-struck by the spectacular exhibits. During her visit to last year’s Yao Hong Ying’s Embroidery Art Exhibition, visit organiser Ms Rachel Milner had signed up as a Friend of the Art Gallery. She has upmost confidence in the exhibitions the Art Gallery holds.

The group of friends never miss an exhibition and always enjoy lunch together at the Water Drop Café. They are all looking forward to Liao Tian Zhao’s Natural Stone Teapot Exhibition” which will be opened in mid-November later this year.
