BLIA (North Island) NZ English Sub-Chapter members blessed with baby daughter
New Zealander Jeffery Goile and Chinese-Thai Malaysian Lenny met each other in 2008 when they joined the English meditation class in Fo Guang Shan (North Island) NZ. They got married a year later at the Temple and on 13 October, became proud parents of Felicia who weighed at 3.8kg at birth. Lenny missed the Venerables and everyone in the temple and could not wait to visit them on 29 October. Her husband Jeffery, shared his first encounter with Buddhism where he realized the beauty and importance of mindfulness when he engaged in Thai boxing. That was when he started learning Buddhism and meditation. The couple hoped that little Felicia could get in touch with Buddhism and learn Chinese as young as now. They planned to sign her up for the Children Dharma class and Chinese classes conducted by Fo Guang Chinese School even though Felicia is only 2 weeks old.
