The Passing of BLIA (North Island) NZ Member

BLIA (North Island) NZ member Miss Rong Bi Feng passed away recently at the age of 41. A Dharma service was held on 23 October which was presided over by Fo Guang Shan (North Island) NZ Venerables. Her father Mr Rong is very supportive of the temple’s activities and and has donated halogen lamps in 2004 which are now being used for the Art Gallery exhibitions. Miss Rong had taken the three refuges last year. Her husband who is currently working in Holland had intended to relocate back to New Zealand to reunite with his wife and children. However, her untimely death made his wish impossible. They have 2 sons, aged eighteen and eight.
