Fo Guang Shan (North Island) NZ- Most senior Bodhi Couple in the Renewal of Matrimonial Vow Blessing Ceremony

On 17 October, Abbess Manshin hosted the most senior Bodhi couple, Mr and Mrs John O’Neil who came all the way from South Island to participate in the Renewal of Matrimonial vow blessing ceremony. Mr and Mrs John O’Neil ‘s son Brett, daughter Sandi, son-in-law Greg and Greg’s parents were also present at the blessing ceremony. This was Mr and Mrs John O’Neil’s first visit to the temple and they immediately fell in love with the peaceful and beautiful environment. They were so touched during the ceremony and shared the secrets to their 48 years of marriage. Their daughter Sandi who is a builder loved the temple’s architecture and thought it was awesome. Sandi’s partner Greg is an experienced pilot of 25 years, and shared the bittersweet moments of his profession. Abbess Manshin presented Master Hsing Yun’s books to each of them and hope they can visit the temple as and when they are free.
