BLIA North Island NZ English Etiquette Workshop -Third Lesson

On 25 Sept, BLIA North Island NZ conducted the third lesson of the English Ettiquette workshop. The venue was Ann Batten’s home. She has a complete collection of cutleries and this enabled the members to fully understand the proper use of the cutleries. She first explained the use of different cutleries for different purposes. Then, it was a practical session for the members. They were requested to set up a formal dinner table. Ann would then advised on any mistakes made. The participants were further taught the art of enjoying a meal with grace i.e to cut the food into smaller pieces and not talking while eating. Next week, the group will put into practice what they have learned and enjoy a formal meal together.
