BLIA (North Island) Meeting for Fundraising Dinner for Christchurch Earthquake Relief

In the aftermath of the 7.1 magnitude earthquake which shook Christchurch, an estimated $4 billion was needed to rebuild the city. BLIA (North Island) initiated a fundraising dinner to be held on 19 September. The organising committee held a meeting on 4 September. It was attended by President Dolly Tsai, 10 BLIA directors and Venerable Rulian. Amongst other things, they discussed about job allocation and schedule for the day. There will be 10 groups to usher, cook , set up etc to ensure a smooth night. After the meeting, the committee set up the venue and tested the karaoke system for the night.
