Fo Guang Shan (North Island) Temple Tour

On Thursday 9 September fifty children aged 8yrs, together with sixteen guardians and teachers from St Kentigern School visited Fo Guang Shan (North Island). The boys demonstrated good discipline and enthusiasm throughout the activities, and the volunteers were surprised by the interesting and insightful questions they asked and their curiosity and excitement to learn about a different culture and religion. The spontaneous involvement of the boys was well appreciated by the temple’s volunteers and the activity ended with a story to inspire honesty and good moral conduct to be practiced in everyday life.
