Faraway Buddha's Light Family Members Visit Temple

BLIA South Island Nelson Subchapter’s Cristine Clements, Jeraldine and Martin visited the Temple on 19th May and were warmly hosted by Venerable Juexi, Venerable Miaoyu and the local Christchurch BLIA members.

Art Gallery Public Relations Officer Seeshen Lee guided them through the embroidery artworks of Yao Hong Ying and Venerable Juexi gave them a Temple tour to show them its sublimity and elegance.

Venerable Juexi also learned about Nelson Subchapter’s recent activities which included weekly meetings and their efforts in practicing Buddhism. The Subchapter invited the Venerables to Nelson to give their members a Dharma Talk.

Venerable Juexi presented them with a copy of Venerable Master Hsing Yun’s books “80 Years Star and Clouds” and “Cloud and Water” on behalf of Venerable Abbess Manshin and encouraged them to come back to the Temple often to learn more about the Buddha’s teachings.
