The visit of the Former English Sub-chapter Vice President

On 31 July, former English Sub-chapter Vice President Alex Pangestu, his wife and two daughters visited Fo Guang Shan (North Island). Alex worked in Switzerland for a year. They toured around Europe for a month before coming home. After being away from New Zealand for almost 15 months, Alex needs time to re-adjust to the local lifestyle. He was impressed by the ‘Way of Life’ Exhibition and commented that the soothing background music and the messages conveyed through the photographs were magnificent.

Another volunteer, Jane Jee has just returned to New Zealand after almost 7 weeks of holiday in Malaysia. She started her duty in the gift shop today . She missed the weather and the people and was so enthusiastic; she started volunteering in the temple so soon after returning from her hometown a few days ago.
