YAD Prepares Mother’s Day Activities

BLIA YAD South Island will be celebrating Mother’s Day on 7th May with heart-warming performances and activities. In the hope that they may dedicate to the mothers an outstanding performance on the day, the YAD members arrived at the Temple on 2nd May early in the morning to rehearse.

Besides rehearsing, YAD 1 President Jason Liu led 10 YAD members in preparing for the event. Through their collective efforts, the youth had managed to make 50 hand-made carnations. The youth diligently practiced their hand gesture performance to the song ‘A grateful heart’, by in which they hope to express their love towards their mothers.

Joyous laughter sounded throughout the Temple, as the YAD members completed all their preparatory tasks. The YAD members will be having their second rehearsal on 3rd May to perfect their performance.
