BLIA Monthly Meeting - Upcoming Activities

New Zealand Buddha’s Light International Association (BLIA) South Island convene March monthly meeting on 27th March. BLIA president Almeric chaired the meeting with New Zealand Fo Guang Shan Venerable Abbess Manshin and Temple Supervisor Venerable Jue Xi as supervisor of this meeting. Vice Presidents and more than 30 members attend the meeting. All sub chapter president have reported and updated the activities that held in March and upcoming event which invited all the BLIA members to join and attend. Six agendas were discussed included, 1. Preparation of 2010 Buddha’s Birthday and invite new volunteer to share the work load; 2. “Million Heart Sutra enter the Buddha” status report; 3. Encourage BLIA member to participate the 2010 BLIA Annual General Meeting in Fo Guang Shan head quarter on 2nd to 7th October; 4. New Zealand BLIA south island Young Adult Division will send two representative to attend the “National Youth leader conference” in Wellington Parliament; 5. BLIA South Island YAD will try to participate the “2010 Christchurch Outward bound”; 6. Encourage YAD member to attend the 6th to 14th August “2010 International Youth Life Learning Camp” in Fo Guang Shan Headquarter, Taiwan and 8th to 11th July Brisbane Fo Guang Shan “2010 ANZBYC”.
