Million Heart Sutra Cultivation Dharma Function

Fo Guang Shan south island New Zealand temple copy sutra cultivation activity that started from 2010 January and continues for three months. On 26th March, IBA temple have conducted the first “Million Heart Sutra Cultivation and Merit transfer Dharma function” for blessing the sutra copy devotees. New Zealand Fo Guang Shan Abbess Manshin leaded 70 devotees offering the incense and light in this function. Abbess chanting voice that encourages the devotee chanted with sincere faith.

After the dharma function, a video played for devotees to view the special activities that held in Fo Guang Shan headquarter, Taiwan. The video shows more than 100,000 devotees gathers in Buddha Memorial hall to celebrate the “Various Treasure enter the Buddha Hall Ceremony”. The magnificent ceremony let the devotees felt the wide area of Buddha Memorial Hall. Besides, several VVIP like Taiwan MP, Mayor and Star TV “Phoenix channel” CEO have gave excellent speech that praised the great vows of Venerable Master Hsing Yun which succeed the works of propagating the dharma.

After the video session, Abbess have shared dharma words with all the devotees and encouraged them to appreciate the chance and follow Venerable Master Hsing Yun’s footsteps and together shared the merit of building this Buddha memorial hall. At the same moment, make a good vow to protect the dharma, continue to propagate the dharma and cultivate the copy sutra practice for ourselves for better future.
