New Zealand IBA South Island Temple staff meeting
New Zealand IBA South Island Temple staff meeting was held on the afternoon of Thursday, March 11, in which 8 people including Temple supervisor Venerable Juexi、Venerable Miaoyu、Dharma Affairs Louisa Kuo、Art Gallery Assistant curator Seeshen Lee、Administration Officer Tracey Chen attended. The groups reported: the 3rd meeting for the 2010 Buddha’s birthday Day is to be held on March 13; on March 17, BLIA sub west chapter will begin a “Buddhist Movie Class”, which will watch and discuss Venerable Yong Ben’s DVD “Great Treatise on the Stages of The Path to Enlightenment”; monthly Meeting and Director Meeting will be held on March 27; Qing Ming dharma function is to be held on April 2; Buddhist Marriage Progress Report on March 27; Embroidery and stone pots will be exhibited in the Art Gallery from May; and FGS South Island will go to FGS North Island to assist in Buddha Day celebratory activities. Venerable Juexi appreciates everyone’s cooperation which concluded the 2010 Christchurch Lantern Festival. Although it was tough work for the body, the spirit is rich and joyful, just as the Venerable Master said, “Busyness is nutrition. This is an important reason why Buddhists are always so full of vitality”.
