Relaxation and Meditation Class successfully concludes
The first ever noon Relaxation and Meditation Class successfully concluded on February 24th, 2010. This class was well received, and some ten students attended the class every day. Everyone thought the class aided the body and mind. Although the one-month class was short, it left everyone with a happy thought in their minds, and gave directions for maintaining health of the body and mind.
Many students found that the biggest change from taking breaks from busy city lives; realising lives with pure hearts, is the improved health in the body and mind, and they have become happier. “Meditation has improved my abilities in many areas. Not only have I become more sensitive towards others and relate to people more quickly, I also learnt to face challenges in life with more courage and confidence,” shared one of the students.
The power of meditation is infinite, and needs to be experienced personally. Zen is an ability to intelligently deal with personal matters, and treat others with compassion and Dharma joy.
