Manukau City Council New Employees visit Temple
On Wednesday 24 February 20 new employees from Manukau City Council visited Fo Guang Shan Temple (North Island) as part of their staff training to enable them to become familiar with some of the attractions in Manukau and as the largest Buddhist Temple in Auckland, Fo Guang Shan (North Island) was a significant place to visit
They were welcomed by Venerable Manwang and given a guided tour of the Temple by a volunteer. The architecture of the building, the development of Temple and the concepts of Humanistic Buddhism were explained. They also visited the ‘Way of Life Photographic Exhibition. The group was very impressed by the serenity and peaceful ambience of the temple and promise they will bring along their family and friends to visit again.
