English Sub Chapter working-bee

On Friday evening the English Sub-Chapter had a working-bee to weed the Temple courtyard in preparation for the Offerings to the Universal Buddhas and Heavenly Kings Dharma Service on Saturday evening. Six members worked happily as a team weeding, cleaning and tidying the ground around the Cherry Blossom trees. As they worked together harmoniously, they took the opportunity for motive mediation as well as talking about their own experiences of Humanistic Buddhism; learning from each other’s journey and offering suggestions about everyday practice.
