The Final Week of Exhibitions Draws Big Crowds
As the displays of Shan Shan Shiao’s Pressed Flower Art and Helena Kim’s Egg Art neared its end at Fo Guang Yuan Art Gallery South Island, the daily number of Gallery visitors had increased dramatically.
On 26th January, visitor numbers reached 100, as people brought their friends and relatives to the Temple to see the art works for the last time before the exhibitions concurrently closed on 31st January.
The guests were given the ultimate art experience when they listened to interesting commentaries of the exhibitions presented by the Art Gallery tour guides while they appreciated the art works. During their conversations with the tour guides, the visitors revealed their enthusiasm for both the pressed flower and egg art works. The guests confided that although they had specifically come for the exhibitions, they promised they will visit the Temple regularly.
