The Return of English Sub-Chapter Member Alice Ng

English Sub-chapter member Alice Ng visited Fo Guang Shan’s (North Island) Venerable on 5 February 2010 after her return from a two month holiday in Malaysia. During the visit she has a meaningful chat with Abbess Venerable Abbess Manshin, Venerable Manwang and Venerable Rulian.
Alice had written a card to the Venerable expressing her gratitude to them for the gift of the book, Handling Down the Light by Venerable Master Hsing Yun. Alice wrote:
‘Thank you for sharing ‘Handing Down the Light’ with me. This book has given me the opportunity to walk with the Master and share his joy and hope. It was a heartwarming autobiography and I have passed on the book so that others may similarly be enlightened. I have gained tremendously from this book and hope to be much wiser in life.
