Lotus Link Humanistic Buddhism Class

The Lotus Link Humanistic Buddhism class had their second lesson on Wednesday 20 January 2010 which 5 people attended. The theme of the English Saturday Service is the 5 Dusts (Wealth, Form, Fame, Food and Sleep) and the Lotus Link Humanistic Buddhism class decided to look at each ‘Dust’ in greater depth. Last Wednesday the study group reviewed wealth and discussed form. They talked about situations in their own lives and how they might overcome the ‘dusts’ in their everyday practice. They are very appreciative of Venerable Miao Yu for her guidance in making the group aware of the defilements and how they might uncover their Buddha nature.
