Live life to the fullest – FGS Youth are the Best!

The 8th day of FGS Youth Summer Camp was January 5.
On this day , in addition to helping out in the dining room and kitchen , serving and cooking in order to cultivate merit, the youths also tidied the Temple corridors. They tidied guest rooms and also there was some weeding under the direction of Abbess Venerable Manshin and Venerable Rulian. The youths helped provide a clean , tidy environment to Temple visitors with this work.
At 10.30am they attended a lecture by Venerable Manwang. They watched the video “The life of the Buddha” to gain insight into the wisdom of the Buddha. After the video Venerable Manwang posed questions about the video to everyone to broaden the understandings introduced by the video.

After lunch, Mr Xie Kun , who is visiting from Malaysia , encouraged everyone to show passion and enthusiasm for life by becoming diligent with positive attitudes, earnestness, loving kindness, initiative, perseverance, confidence and a willingness to learn. He said his goal by being present in the Temple was to help in this process and that he wanted everyone to live life to the fullest and to help each other in life. Thank you Mr Xie Kun for your help.
