Visit to recovering East 1 Sub-chapter President Lily Bernado

North Island Fo Guang Shan Venerable Rulian, Venerable Miao Yu and BLIA President Dolly Tsai visited Lily on 26 December 2009 who fell and injured herself a few days ago. Her arm suffered minor fractures.
Lily is a dedicated volunteer often helping at the Front Shrine reception. She is a happy sunshine person always wearing a beautiful smile on her face . Everyone calls her the “Happy Bodhisattva.” She has spared no effort promoting the upcoming “One Million Heart Sutra in the Buddha” ceremony .She has touched many people’s hearts. During the visit, Lily had a great chat with the Venerables and Dolly. Abbess Venerable Manshin and other Venerables had already sent their well wishes via phone.
She was given the Six Character Great Bright Mantra from the Liberation Rite of Water and Land Dharma Service and a light offering ceremony was held for her speedy recovery . Get well soon Lily we miss you.
