Art Gallery Friend’s Creation Inspired by FGY Exhibitions

On 20th December, two friends of the Art Gallery, Errol and Leonare Ashby, paid the staffs of Fo Guang Yuan Art Gallery Christchurch a special visit. They brought along with them a “pressed flower egg” craft work as a gift to the Art Gallery.

Mrs. Ashby expressed that the recent exhibitions of FGY Art Gallery has brought her endless inspirations. Deriving ideas from the pressed flowers and egg artworks, she created a hybrid pressed flower egg craft. FGY Art Gallery Public Relations Officer Seeshen Lee accepted the special gift on behalf of the Temple, and passed on the news to egg artist Helena Kim that her work has brought even more richness to the lives of her viewers.
