Hand in Hand for 32 Years Anniversary - A celebration of retired School Principals Mr Xie Kun’s & Mrs Zhuang Fei Mei’s Wedding

Fo Guang Shan (North Island ) BLIA English member Candice celebrated her parents Mr Xie Kun and Mrs Zhuang Fei’s Mei 32th Wedding Anniversary at the Waterdrop Teahouse on Christmas Day. In addition to the family , Venerable Rulian, Venerable Miao Yu, YAD members and volunteers attended.
Principals Mr Xie Kun and Mrs Zhuang Fei Mei taught in Malaysia and are on a family visit to daughter Candice and son in law Ken . Candice and Ken are volunteers at the Temple. Mr Xie Kun also volunteered at our Temple by chairing the “One Million Heart Sutra in the Buddha for One Hundred years” project and also used his education skills helping reorganise and plan for the development of the Fo Guang Chinese School. Candice and Ken help in publicity and poster design work for the Temple and enjoy volunteering and hearing the Dharma in the Temple.
