Common Vision of FGS Fostered at Temple Staff Meeting

On the evening of 8th December, a general meeting was held for the Temple staff members. Venerable Juexi, Venerable Miaoyu, FGY Art Gallery’s Seeshen Lee, Water Drop Café’s Ms. Lee, Administration leader Tracy Chen, News Department leader James Low and English Social Education Group leader Shenghan Lim and several other staff attended the meeting.

Meeting contents included:
1. The promotion of the upcoming events such as New Year’s Pilgrimage, New Year’s Eve Dinner, Lantern Festival and Buddha’s Birthday Celebration. 2.
2. The class contents and structure of the Noontime Drop-In Meditation Class and Volunteers’ Basic English Buddhism Class.
3. Art Gallery activities like Friends of Art Gallery, Volunteer Tour Guide Training, and the Helena Egg Art Exhibition Closing Tea Party.
4. Water Drop Cafe: Procedures, pricings, rosters and staff responsibilities.

Meeting attendees expressed their opinions with enthusiasm, and everyone worked towards reaching a consensus and a common goal, as they all wish to make Fo Guang Shan South Island a place which can truly serve humanity.
