Nature and Life Floral Exhibition Preparatory Meeting

Ikebana International Christchurch Chapter 202 Inc, BLIA South Island and Fo Guang Shan South Island will be joining forces to organise the Nature and Life Floral Exhibition which will be held on 4th to 6th December.

On 18th November, Ikebana’s current president Fred Hollingworth, previous president Ray King gathered at FGS South Island for a meeting with Temple Supervisor Venerable Juexi and Fo Guang Yuan Art Gallery Public Relations Officer Seeshen Lee to discuss the event activities in detail.

During the meeting, the contents of the three day event were discussed: the appreciation of the artworks; flower arrangement demonstration sessions; tour guiding; the ribbon cutting ceremony; Invitation card design and contents; and afternoon tea.

Venerable Juexi presented Fred Hollingworth and Ray King with the 2010 calendar, thanking the Ikebana association for collaborating with FGS South Island to organise the floral exhibition which will bring joy to many people’s lives.
