Blood Donation

On the evening of Thursday 19 November 2009, eight members of the BLIA donated blood at the Manukau Blood Donor Centre. East 1 was represented by Ronald, Christina, Louisa, Samantha and Jenny; East 2 by Nelson and the three members of YAD were Johnny, Max and Tina. Some of the members had given blood in the past and supported those for whom it was the first time.

This was a good opportunity to serve the community and appreciate the wonderful service given by New Zealand Blood. All contributions are particularly significant at this moment in time when there is a shortage of blood which may have life threatening implications for those in need.
