Preparation Meeting for Charity Banquet and Auction

A preparation meeting for the charity auction dinner on 19th September was held on 28th August. Venerable Juexi chaired the meeting, and those who attended it included BLIA South Island committee members, Fo Guang Yuan Art Gallery Public Relations Officer See Shen Lee, YAD 1 President Jason Liu, YAD 2 President Danny Chen and several others.

During the meeting, issues discussed were: job allocations among the BLIA members; the team leaders and group members; and the work-in-progress were also reported. The meeting ran smoothly and everyone enthusiastically took up the responsibilities. At present, all the auction items have been itemised into a pamphlet; the invitation cards have been sent out one after another; the menu for the dinner has been finalised; and all the tasks have been carried out to as planned.

Venerable Juexi encouraged the team to work as a whole in propagating Buddhism. The auction items will be available for viewing from 1st September onwards. The second preparatory meeting is scheduled for 3rd September.
