Making Nyonya Cakes a Secret No More!

The desert making class organised by BLIA South Island West-one Sub-chapter has received a good response from BLIA members. On 22nd August, another class was conducted by West-one Sub-chapter President Lisa Tsai, and during the lesson, everyone learnt how to prepare delicious Nyonya cakes.

10 BLIA South Island committee members attended the class, where they learnt the steps involved in making the rainbow-coloured delicacy to a perfect outcome.

Everyone listened attentively during the class and took notes, as they all anticipate creating these scrumptious cakes in future by themselves. It was all hands on for the students, everyone participated in the process of making the coloured Nyonya delicacy. Everyone was appreciative of Ms. Tsai’s patience and skillful demonstration.
