Improvement is the Only Way…Tea House Fosters Talent
In order to improve the quality and efficiency of service at the Tea House, all the staff members gathered together on 16th July for a meeting under Venerable Juexi’s guidance. The attendees included staff and YAD members, totaling 10 people.
The meeting agenda included:
1. Agreeing on abbreviations for the meals and drinks in order to speed up the ordering process.
2. Explanation of the procedures for brewing tea, and the introduction of the new range of fruit teas; so the staff know how to brew the tea to the desired effect and bring out it’s fragrance.
3. Practicing the skill of waitering, and learning the required mannerism and attitudes for providing the customers the best service possible.
4. Explanation of staff rules and regulations.
Venerable Juexi expressed that working at the tea house allows staff members to develop their attention to detail, learn people skills and sharpen their senses. Through service, the staff may increase their own inner wealth, and for that reason, everyone should cherish their time working at the Tea House. If one learns hard, then one will inevitably reap rewards.
