Sister Annette C.S.N. Finds Inspiration at Temple
Over the past few months, the Embroidery Exhibition has witnessed many special guests and notable figures of society. On 16th June, the Exhibition yet again welcomed a very special person. Sister Annette C.S.N. joined in one of the guided tours of the Exhibition, and was deeply touched and inspired by the humbling works of Yao Hong Ying.
Within the same day, Sister Annette promptly wrote a letter of appreciation which expressed her feelings of her visit to the Temple. The special letter finally arrived at the Temple on the 24th June, and in the letter, Sister Annette began by acknowledging the contribution the Temple has made to the Christchurch people.
She continued by praising Yao Hong Ying for her gift to the world and wishes that Yao Hong Ying may find much contentment while passing her skills to her students. As an avid embroiderer herself, Sister Annette confided that the day’s visit has given her inspiration, which has encouraged her to improve her own stitches in the vestments she embroiders for the Church. Lastly, she thanked the tour guide for delivering an excellent tour.
