Exquisite Sunday Considered the “Temple in a Nutshell”

The introduction of “Exquisite Sunday”, which began in the beginning of June, has successfully attracted many visitors. On 14th June, over 10 people from different groups, namely Mrs. Molly Mather, Heather Strong and Helen McNeily’s group, spent their afternoon at Temple. They enjoyed their special “Exquisite Sunday” lunch and coffee at the Tea House before participating in the Temple tour, taken by BLIA South Island Vice-president Mr. Jack Liu.

Mr. Liu began by introducing the guests the design concepts of the building, and later took them through the Time Capsule as well as the Courtyard. Following on, Mr. Liu explained the teachings of the Buddha as well as the design of Buddha Hall. After the tour, Ms. McNeily and Ms. Strong joined the guided tour of the Embroidery Exhibition. Prior to their departure, the participants of the special lunch expressed their gratitude for the warm hospitality and interesting tour by the volunteers of the Temple.
