"Embroidery Exhibition Stunning", According To Visitors

On 30th May, Fo Guang Yuan Art Gallery South Island welcomed more than 80 visitors who came to enjoy the Yao Hong Ying Embroidery Art Exhibition. Many visitors were stunned by the inspiring artworks created by Mrs. Yao. According to volunteer of the Art Gallery, YAD member Hao-Wen Lin, after viewing the embroidery, a visitor who was an embroider felt ashamed when she compared her work with Mrs. Yao’s work.

The free guided tour sessions of the Exhibition has begun to gain popularity – tour guides See Shen Lee and Shenghan Lim keep the tours friendly and full of humour.

Visitors also expressed interest in the coming exhibitions at Fo Guang Yuan Art Gallery. Art Gallery Assistant curator See Shen Lee has begun working on the publicity for the “Photograph Exhibition – Way of Life” which will be held in July, and the “Flower Art Exhibition by Mrs. Hsiao Shan Shan” which will be held in December.
