Special Guests From Malaysia-Family of Devout Buddhists
On 29th March, BLIA Island member James Low brought his parents and sister to FGS South Island to pay homage to the Buddha. The Low family was welcomed by Venerable Juexi and BLIA committee member Ms. Louisa Guo.
Mr. Low and his children are keen photographers; they were busy taking photos of the artwork of the Temple’s outer walls. Mr. Low resides in Malaysia, but nevertheless is actively involved in the activities organised by BLIA Brunei.
Mrs. Low is a member of BLIA Brunei, and all family members are sincere Buddhists. The reason for their trip down south was visit their son James, who was assigned to Christchurch after graduating from his masters degree in the United Kingdom.
James regularly volunteers at FGS South Island and is a member of BLIA South Island. The visiting family members were pleased with New Zealand’s environment and were touched by both FGS South Island’s Dharma propagation and its building. The Temple presented the guests with the Annual Report of BLIA New Zealand and the Young Adults Division Magazine.
