YAD's Youthful Hand Gesture Performance Sure To Shine

To prepare for their performance during the Buddha’s Birthday Celebration, BLIA Young Adults Division South Island held their second session of hand gesture practice on 26th March at Fo Guang Shan South Island’s Dining Hall. Six people attended the session, including BLIA YAD Group 2 President Danny Chen, Vice-president Hao-Wen and several others.

YAD Group 1 President Jason Liu led the rehearsal session, where the attendees sat in a circle and practiced the hand gestures in rhythm with the music. They were practiced the hand gestures to the songs “Star and Cloud” and “Transform and Contribute”.

During the class, the youths exchanged their ideas for the performance and suggested that break dance be incorporated into their hand gesture performance to five it the youthful edge. The YAD members expressed that they will continue holding rehearsal sessions up until the day of the event, in hope that they can maintain the high standard of performance they had set during previous events.
