BLIA South Island Movie Study Group Begins!

Adhering to the learning attitude of “To let one’s home become a school and the living room a classroom”, BLIA South Island held their first television study group on 20th February. During the study group, participants watched a video of Venerable Huikuan’s talk regarding the “Hundred Questions in Buddhism – Life and Death”.

BLIA South Island President Mr. Almeric Cheng, along with 20 other committee members attended the group. Vice President of BLIA South Island Mr. Jack Liu led the group in study as he introduced the background of Venerable Huikuan to those present. Mr. Liu also employed his humour to get the participants warmed up.

At the end of the session, the attendees had in-depth discussions about the topic they learnt during the session. As a result of the study group, everyone learnt more about life and death through the eyes of Buddhism, and left with a feeling of fulfillment.
