Lantern Festival Meeting

On 24th January, Buddha’s Light International Association South Island president Almeric Cheng, vice president Mei-Hua Chen, chapter presidents and committee members held a meeting with Venerable Juexi regarding the upcoming Lantern Festival.

During the meeting, issues such as groups, leaders, food preparation, decoration and transport were discussed. This year, FGS South Island will have three stalls at the site of the Lantern Festival. Apart from food, there will be cultural stalls, which hope to promote the Temple and BLIA South Island.

President Almeric Cheng took the opportunity to thank everyone for their work throughout past Lantern Festivals and hopes that this year it will run even smoother. BLIA committee member Gina Chen also shared her Lantern Festival experiences, and hopes that this year everyone can work even more effectively as a team to reach greater heights.
