“The More Good the Better” Now on Exhibition
From the 6th of January until the end of February, New Zealand Fo Guang Yuan Art Gallery Two will be exhibiting the art works from the ‘2006 Fo Guang Yuan International Prize for Little Artists – The More Good the Better’, which is an exhibition of artworks produced by the creativity and imagination of children.
Fo Guang Yuan Art Gallery 2’s outgoing exhibition ‘Draw with Heart’ was also an exhibition produced by kids between the ages of 4 and 13. The local community as well as several members of parliament came to appreciate these art works, where it became popular and well known, and showed the power of children through the voice of art.
Fo Guang Yuan Art Gallery 2’s organisers expressed that during the two months of the exhibition, they will encourage schools and groups in the local community to organize a trip to view the exhibition, as it will allow them to open their eyes to something different and appreciate the significance of the artworks.
