Sydney and Auckland FGS Devotees Visit Temple on 1st

On the first day of 2009, around 10 devotees from IBAA Sydney arrived at Fo Guang Shan South Island Temple for a visit, under the guidance of BLIA Sydney East Division president and member Xiu Feng Chen.

Venerable Juexi and BLIA South Island committee member Louisa Kuo welcomed the visitors and guided them around the Temple, allowing them to appreciate artworks such as the current exhibition at Fo Guang Yuan Art Gallery 2 and the unique architecture of the Temple.

After the tour, the Sydney devotees enjoyed a meal at the Tea House. BLIA North Island vice president Chen and family also visited the Temple on the 1st of January, and were received by BLIA South Island advisor John Lai and his wife.

The family paid homage at the Buddha Hall, and through Venerable Juexi’s introduction to the architecture and paintings around of Temple, they appreciated the majestic building and enjoyed the artworks at Fo Guang Yuan Art Gallery 2.
