New Year’s Day Pilgrimage

Approximately 200 disciples made an early start to 2009 by joining the New Years’ Day pilgrimage. Everyone assembled at the Main Gate of the Temple at 6:00am where Venerable Manwang gave instructions and a demonstration on how to participate in the pilgrimage.

All participants wholeheartedly and diligently took part in the prostrations from the Main Gate to the Main Shrine. It was a fantastic opportunity to interact with the Buddha and a very good way to begin the New Year - full of hope and opportunity.
