Lavender Fever- Teas, Coffees and Much More!
During “Nature and Life” Floral Week, which will be launched on the 13th December 2008, Buddha’s Light International Association South Island advisor John Lai will be showcasing Lavender products, including Lavender tea, snacks and photos of the entire process of Lavender harvesting and processing. Buddha’s Light International Association South Island Young Adult Division members will be helping to look after the stalls throughout the week.
In addition, activities during the week include Lavender tea and coffee tasting, as well as the opportunity to purchase Lavender products. Fo Guang Tea House will also be adding the special tea and coffee to their menu for patrons to enjoy.
In order to discover the perfect blend of Lavender tea, advisor Lai, BLIA president Almeric Cheng, Venerable Juexi and a few others sat down for a taste testing session of the different combinations of the tea and coffee at Fo Guang Tea House on the 3rd of December.
Advisor Lai also discussed with those present the photos and information he wishes to display. He wishes to show visitors the process involved in making Lavender products-from growing, tending, harvesting and processing to the finished product-so that people can have the complete picture of what it takes to make Lavender products.
