“Nature and Life” Floral Week meeting

On the 29th of November, Buddha’s Light International Association South Island Committee members held a second meeting in preparation for the “Nature and Life” week which will be held from the 13th of December until the 19th of December. A total of 14 members of BLIA South Island Young Adult Division and BLIA South Island attended.

Topics discussed during the meeting included the program details, and decisions regarding the event were also made. During the Floral week, there will be two demonstrations of flower arrangement each day presented by professional teachers to show audiences the art of flower arranging. There will also be a stand for lavender products on sale, and lavender flavoured tea and desserts available at the Tea House.

During the flower arranging show, the audience will have the opportunity to vote for the three best flower arrangements produced. In addition, at the end of the Floral Week, there will be an afternoon tea to celebrate the success of the event, in hope that the audience and members of the temple will be able to appreciate the art of the expo and discover themselves through it, as well as add to the vibrancy of their lives.
