Women's Dharma Talk Group

On the 31st of October, Buddha's Light International Association South Island conducted a Women's Dharma Talk Group in the presence of Venerable Abbess Manshin, with BLIA South Island vice-president Mei-Hwa Chen leading the group of 24 BLIA members in attendance.

Venerable Abbess shared the idea of "great wisdom appearing slow-witted". "Is showing that you have wisdom easier or is hiding the wisdom easier?" All members expressed their thoughts and opinions on the matter, as they discussed deeply on what they thought, and on the three different answers that were raised.

Venerable Abbess Manshin concluded the talk with inspiring words and encouraged the ladies to always be well equipped and on the ready, “as the teacher will be appear at anytime”. Abbess also reminded them to appreciate the present moment and to do the right thing at the right time.
