Preparation Meeting for the Annual General Meeting

On the 1st of November, Buddha's Light International Association South Island Committee will be conducting their Annual General Meeting. In preparation for the AGM, a preparatory meeting was held on the 25th of October.

BLIA South Island president Mr. Almeric Cheng held the BLIA Directors’ Meeting at Fo Guang Shan South Island Temple’s Meeting Room in the presence of Venerable Juexi. Those who were in attendance included vice president Mei-Hua Chen, advisor John Lai as well as others, accruing to a total of 11 members.

The meeting agenda included discussion on how the jobs would be shared and allocated, the decoration of the temple, souvenirs and the committee members’ candidates list. Hopefully the preparatory BLIA Directors’ meeting will pave way to a smooth Annual General Meeting.
