Medicine Buddha's Dharma Function Week 2

On the 25th of October, Fo Guang Shan South Island Temple held their second session of the Medicine Buddha's Dharma Function, proceeding from the first one which was on the 18th of October.

Around 80 people attended, with Venerable Juexi leading the Dharma function. During the Dharma talk, Venerable Juexi explained that heavenly guardians will reward sincere devotion and offerings with limitless blessings and constant protection.

It was suggested that we should contemplate on the delightfulness of the human and celestial realms but at the same time be mindful of the sufferings of the three lower realms. Venerable Juexi concluded by reminding us to maintain steadfast self esteem and to be honest and maintain a compassionate heart.
