South Island FGS Medicine Buddha's Dharma Function

On the 18th and 25th of October, Fo Guang Shan South Island will conduct the “peaceful country, praying for peace, light offering” Medicine Buddha's Dharma Function. Devotees who participated included Buddha's Light International Association South Island president Almeric Cheng and his wife, advisor John Lai, vice-president Mei-Hua Chen and her husband, BLIA committee members and many others to a total of 80 people.

Venerable Juexi gave a Dharma talk on Medicine Buddha’s 12 great vows and explained the significance and capabilities of Medicine Buddha’s Mantra, and encouraged devotees to make a big vow, have great compassion, cultivate merits and gain wisdom.

Venerable Juexi also encouraged everyone to learn to sing the song “Singing Praises to the Master” so they can use their voice to illustrate Grandmaster's entire lifetime and praise it. Through the music, devotees can understand the wisdom and compassion in Grandmaster and allow their light to shine on each other.
